I love when Stevie surprises me by doing something out of the blue. Yesterday when Stevie was climbing on the bed he counted ' one, two, (whispering) three, four. I was amazed. Big Steve didn't hear, so we asked him to say it again and he said 'one, two, three, four'. Before he was always counting 'one, two, one, two'. We've been trying to get him past counting 2 and he skipped to adding 4. Now we have to try to get him to add 5!
Another word we are working at is milk. He's been saying milk for a long time but when he says it, it sounds like he's saying 'no' or 'now'. I try to get him to sound out the 'm (ma)' sound by going 'ma, ma, milk'. Well, now he goes around saying 'ma, ma, now'. Oh well, it will come!

That is so fnny; my daughter does the same with certain words; I understand her because I am around her all the time. She started counting too and I am trying to teach her the collors.
