Yeah for visitors!

Steve's parents and grandparents came for a visit last week and left this Monday.  It was such a nice visit.  The weather was nice and we were able to keep pretty busy.  Sharon, Ed and Swanie got here Wednesday evening.  We went to the Royal Oaks Farm on Thursday (my birthday!).  We ate a very hearty lunch (we brought most of it home to Steve because the portions were so big) and then watched as Stevie had a grand ole time climbing on their yard toys.  He went on a train ride and on the merry-go-round, then we went to the gift shop where grandma bought him a truck and trailer.  Lizzie got her first little purse with a doggie in it.  We picked up Paul (or Jack as Stevie calls him) at the Metra train station that evening and walked across the street to have the best Chicago deep dish pizza at Georgio's.

Stevie thoroughly enjoyed having grandma sleep in his room while they were here.  Lizzie just loved having Jack hold her.  We all had a great time and surprisingly our little 2 bedroom apartment didn't seem too full with 2 extra people staying there for a few days.  I was able to go out a few times....alone!  Crazy!  Stevie even got to go on a train ride with Jack on Monday morning.
