Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel!

This year we've been learning about Hanukah, and today our friend Greg came over to celebrate it with us.  For those that don't know Hanukah, also called the Festival of Lights, started yesterday at sundown, so we lit 2 candles tonight.   You should take the time out to read the story of Hanukah.  It's nice to learn about another part of the history of how our right to worship God has preserved and protected.

Traditional potato latkes.

Greg is teaching everyone how to play dreidel.

Check out Stevie's stash - he won!

Greg's menorrah, the middle candle is the helper candle.  You light that first, then use it to light the other candles.

You would think this is Steve's Hanukah present, but alas, it is Lizzie's :)
