I realize this is belated, seeing as how Christmas is only 5 days away. We went to Illinois to visit Steve's family for Thanksgiving. It was a great trip. Stevie was awesome. It was mine and Stevie's first time meeting most of the family. It was great to see Steve's parents, his sister Sharla, and our nephews Matthew and Michael, also. When we got to Quincy they had a delicious Thanksgiving meal ready for us.
The boys had fun playing with each other. Although, Stevie is definitely not used to playing with kids and had a bad case of the 'mine's. By the end of the trip when Stevie came towards Michael, Michael would just hand Stevie his toy. Apparently, he already knew Stevie was going to take it from him anyway. We've been working on that since we've come home (although, I'm not sure how well it's going).
It was so great to see everyone and it was a great trip, despite my worries of the traveling (messed up nap times, different crib, different schedule). Big Steve and I didn't get much sleep, but were able to survive. Stevie's only melt down was about 2 hours after we returned home, but a nap with mommy cured it!

Hehe...what nice pictures. It'll be so great when the kids can play together all the time!
