The other day Stevie was doing a worksheet for homeschool. As he was counting out loud, Lizzie was counting also, 1-2-3. I was amazed! I told Steve that night and he tried to get her to do it, but of course she wouldn't. So he started counting with her, to 10. Although he was saying the numbers too, he followed her queue and she counted to 9! I couldn't believe it and thought it was a fluke. I haven't practiced anything with her. I don't like to force learning on my kids too early, I just follow their lead.

Well, this morning (actually yesterday morning, I started this post yesterday) , she was alone in the playroom and she counted to 9 again!! She did it again this evening and I pulled out the iPod camera. I takes a little coaxing, but I finally get it. You can tell how stubborn she is. She has really been blossoming with her communication this past 3 weeks. I've been blown away with the things she says and does. Keep in mind that she's not even 2 yet :) My little cutie patootie!
