Because There is Never a Dull Moment

So we had to replace the furnace this winter and knew that a new a/c would be needed in our future.  So we had a new a/c installed this week.  The old one was from 1988, so I think it served it's purpose (although our neighbor's a/c is from the 50s or 60s and still working, with minimal work done to it!)
I had been thinking about getting Lasik done, but I think a new a/c took precedence.  Maybe another time.

Stevie was very curious and they were really nice about him asking questions.

When he was done asking questions, Lizzie took Stevie for a ride around the back yard.

And later they took a bath!  Haha!  I needed to take a picture for blackmail for the future.

On Sunday we hung out outside, took a walk and talked to neighbors.  It was beautiful outside.

This is too funny.  Lizzie pointed to Steve, started to laugh and says "Haha, you're belly is fat!".  Steve immediately sucked it in.
Here it is letting it all out...and then some (he has an amazing talent of making himself look pregnant)

Making herself comfy

Riding his bike.  Steve is too lazy (well more like he's really busy) to take the training wheels off.

I told Steve to take some pictures of me so that people know that we are actually a family of four.  It came out pretty good, so it was safe to post :)

I love her determination.  And doesn't she look cute with her ladybug helmet on?

This Harley big wheel has done us good over the years

Jay always standing guard

Lizzie with her sidewalk chalk

And always playing in the dirt

I love the concentrating tongue

Playing nicely (Ha!  Just Kidding!) in the cinderella-mobile

I was seriously going to get rid of Bobby because of a rough couple of weeks.  Look how handsome he is!

Since the last rough day with him, he has been super awesome and I'm glad the worst seems to have passed.

Bob and his freakishly long tongue

Handsome Jay

Have you ever seen a dog lay like this?  He does it all the time!  He's such a weirdo!

Lunch on the front porch

Oh My!

Gorgeous Girl

Having so much fun!

Awwww

Seriously too cute

Oh and here is Jay and his cone of shame.  He got into an 'altercation' with a squirrel.  Although the scratch that he got wasn't horrible, it severed a blood vessel and there was lots of (squirting...ewwww) blood.  So we had to make an emergency visit to the vet.  He spent the afternoon there, where they had to find the vessel, clamp it and stitch him back up.  I didn't think he was going to need a cone, but after getting to the stitches 3 times over the weekend, we had to take another trip to the vet so he could get fitted for a cone.  He was so ashamed!

It's been giving us lots of laughs.  He bumps into everything, but he still wants to play.

He will follow us around, but because of the stitches and the clamped vessel we can't play with him.

Poor Jay, sometimes he just gives up, but he has a place to put his bone!

This time he got stuck upstairs.  He can, apparently, walk up them but the cone blocks his view to walk down them.

Oh...and we also decided to take some trees down in the back.

So crazy Steve started taking it down tonight.  Freaking me out a little more every time I look out the window to check on him!
