We've come across some interesting critters around the new place. I try to remember to take some pictures. We then google to see whether or not we should release back into the yard.
This is a ring-necked snake and is harmless. It is one of those snakes you want in the yard to eat your pests. And it's very pretty. We've come across a few. Once I opened up a shed door and one fell from the top. Surprisingly snakes aren't on my creepy creatures that freak me out list.
