Finally going to try to catch up on my pictures from the past couple of months. It's been a bit stressful and it makes simple tasks seem less than simple.
We made a trip up to the Chicago area at the end of May to help a friend. We were able to take a trip to the zoo and meet some other friends.
Child wisdom: Stevie informed me that life isn't always about chores, we need to have fun too. It's hard for me to see past all the chores! I have to keep reminding myself to try to have some fun.

After some rain there was actually some water in the creek. Little did we know then the creek would soon become a river going through our backyard!
