Rockets

Just a few pics of my pretty girl before we head to a field to launch a rocket that the boys have built.

I tried to get a picture of them with the rocket before it gets launched, after a few tries, either Stevie covers up his our Lizzie's face.....

Or he places it inappropriately in front of daddy.  Lol!

Big Steve and Stevie built it out of old rocket parts, toilet paper rolls and bag stiffener.

Searching for the rocket.  No luck.  It must've gone pretty far!

There was one more engine left and a water bottle on the ground, so of course Steve had to make an impromptu water bottle rocket.

Here it is....

It didn't exactly launch!  It whirled around and around

Until it finally broke free

and the bottle is filled with smoke.  It was pretty neat (but a little scary, I was afraid it was going to finally launch at one of the kids!)

And here is a bonus pic of my handsome boy.  He wanted me to take a picture of him in a bath robe! Haha!  He had just taken a shower and found it amusing to wear it upstairs so that he could get dressed.  I love that boy!
