So here are some pictures of 2015, so far. And as per usual, they are out of order!
Shoveling Snow!
I have to say that I love watching my kids work. Especially when they are working together. I was taught responsibility and feel it's necessary to teach our kids responsibility.
My hard working helpers!
The spoils of gingerbread house creations!
The gingerbread houses the kids built were starting to get stale and taking us space, so they dug in one night to disassemble with their mouths.
Not sure what Steve is doing, but gotta love the face!
Play-Doh!
I was toying with the idea of getting rid of the play-doh, we have quite a collection. But instead pulled it out and let the kids have some fun with it. It kept them occupied for quite some time. I'll get rid of it another day.
Building a model engine!
Stevie got a model engine for Christmas and one night he and Daddy sat down to start putting it together. Unfortunately we are missing a piece and had to stop!
Lizzie builds her muscles, while they build the engine
Check out that instruction list!
My little snow angels.
What fun is it to have snow on the ground if you can't make snow angels? They were all over the back yard.
Jay waited patiently until I would let him out to romp in the snow. His skin is so sensitive, he can only go out for a few minutes. But he loves every second. This is right before I let him out. He was whining to go play!
Stevie did a science experiment he learned on animaljam.com. The kids made a real cute video, I have to edit it together and then I'll post it.
Mommy and Daddy went on a date and I decided to capture it. We went for a stroll in downtown Crystal Lake, in the surprisingly refreshing cold, while waiting for our table to become available.
Lizzie loves her hat she got from Auntie Barbara! You press the part that's hanging and the tail goes up in the back. She thinks it's hilarious!
Stevie got a monster one. This is a pity picture. He says "Umm, I think I'd be embarrassed to wear it"....And so it begins! Lol!
Lizzie was like "Take a picture of me!"
This is what happens when little boys are told not to do something and they do it anyway! Ewww! A little triage before church on Sunday.
No picture of the cut, but he did a pretty good job :/
Lizzie picks her own outfits.
Just in case you didn't notice, she also had a skirt on under her dress.
I went to the library with Lizzie while Stevie was in gym and swim and wanted her to take a picture with the Lego Cinderella castle when we went in.....but as you can see she was in a bad mood. I couldn't get a smile on her.
This was on the way out. She asked to take another picture. She was in a Much better mood on the way out!
