2 weeks ago I took Stevie to the dentist to get his teeth cleaned. They said it was best, on his first appointment, if he went in alone. So I didn't get any pictures, but I got to listen to him laughing from the waiting area. He had cavities in his 2 front teeth, which we had known about but Steve's mentality is "they're going to fall out anyway". Since we have insurance, we decided to get them filled. These pictures are from when we went back to get them filled.
Stevie did such a great job, even though the dentist wasn't the friendliest. I'm pretty sure he's sick of his job. He was cranky and it was only 9am! Stevie only cried a little when they were holding a divider in between his 2 teeth, he was bleeding so I'm sure it hurt (there were also 2 other rooms with screaming children, so Stevie's minor whimpering wasn't bad). The dentist basically told him to suck it up, if he (Stevie) hadn't drank milk and juice this wouldn't have happened! At least I was in there this time to assure him everything would be fine. Lizzie was also great and sat on my lap, only whimpering when Stevie did.

yeah, i'd say your dentist was a little cranky! dang! what a way to scare the kids into NOT wanting to go to the dentist! :)

I know! I think it's time for him to retire! I probably would've said something if I wasn't trying so hard to keep the experience more soothing for Stevie. Stevie seemed oblivious, so that's all that matters.
