While we were gone to Virginia, Stevie had his second Pinewood Derby of the year! Here are some pics from someone that was there.

The next few pictures are from Chicks Beach. After driving all the way to Virginia for our first vendor show....it got cancelled. We weren't feeling to well about that! So we went for a much needed walk on the beach. Salt water therapy!

We decided to take our time driving home since we had to come back sooner than expected. We happened upon the cutest B&B in Mt. Vernon, Il. Sidwell and Friends. It was beautiful!

We went out on a date at the nicest restaurant in town, RARE. The food was very good and we are glad we found it. There wasn't much, it seemed, to offer when driving through Mt. Vernon, but we had a lovely, relaxing experience.
And when we got home we used the cool popcorn maker that Grandpa Swanson and Nana Cindy sent us home with for the kids.
One day I found a bee nesting in Stevie's nice thick hair. Weird..... Stevie didn't even notice! Hahaha!
Steve got his first wild turkey! It was absolutely delicious. Better than you can buy in the store.
Jay thought Daddy smelled real good after working with the turkey.
